The LaHaye fiction series, Left Behind, co-authored with Jerry B. Jenkins is the all-time best-selling Christian fiction series. With sixteen titles in the series - Left Behind, Tribulation Force, Nicolae, Soul Harvest, Apollyon, Assassins, The Indwelling, The Mark, Desecration, The Remnant, Armageddon, The Glorious Appearing, The Rising, The Regime, The Rapture, and the final volume, Kingdom Come.
All totaled, the Left Behind product line has sold more than 65 million copies and is available in 32 different languages. LaHaye originated the idea of a novel about the Second Coming.
Sitting on airplanes and watching the pilots, he told People magazine,
I'd think to myself, ‘What if the Rapture occurred on an airplane?' LaHaye looked for a co-writer for several years before he was introduced to Jerry B. Jenkins through their agent.
Another popular LaHaye series is Babylon Rising, with four titles in the series, Babylon Rising, The Secret on Ararat, The Europa Conspiracy, and The Edge of Darkness. Each of these novels debuted in the top 10 on The New York Times bestseller list. With co-author, Bob Phillips, these action thrillers introduce the reader to Michael Murphy, a scholar of Biblical prophecy, archaeologist, and professor, who defies danger to fearlessly hunt down and authenticate ancient artifacts from Biblical times. These suspense thrillers are thought-provoking with a message for our troubled times.
New York Daily News says of this series,
Nonstop action...there are enough cliff-hangers for a dozen Saturday serials.

The Jesus Chronicles:
The newest Jenkins / LaHaye venture is called, The Jesus Chronicles. This is a four-book novel series from publisher Penguin Putnam. These are rich First Century experiences as the disciples tell their own story of Jesus. This series is researched by Tim LaHaye and written by Jerry Jenkins. Book one is titled, John's Story: The Last Eye Witness. The books that follow in The Jesus Chronicles series will include stories from Mark, Luke, and Matthew.
These are remarkable and thrilling accounts of the life of the Man who came to fulfill the prophecies of the Old Testament and to save all of mankind. To bring deeper understanding to the story, each of the four books includes the text of the corresponding gospel as an appendix.
